Very much a masterpiece

Incredibly creative how you used such a simple thing as a piggy bank and linked it to addictions. You clever bastard you!

I love you Emily

Marry me and have babies.

Was... dissapointing.

I actually bought this when it came out. Wanted to enjoy it. I was just.... so very dissapointed in it. I respect you as an artist dude, but my honest opinion is that this needed so much more polishing that I don't think you could have fixed it. Kind of like... I felt like it was missing soul... or you got lazy with it... or rushed it...

Some parts were cringe worthy. Especially with the worm/butterfly animal, now that I remember it, it was sooo cheezy, I kinda of was embarrased to watch it.

Anyway, Love your art, Work harder, Love you.

SpikeVallentine responds:

Thank you for your honesty. I agree. This project isn't too powerful. But we gotta live with what we got. Also, the DVD is the 33 minute version, the online version is 22, which is much better.

Brevity.

The pacing is better and some lame stuff was taken out.

IT IS MISSING SOUL. Look, my wonderful friend of mine opened my eyes and help me realize that stories are about life. And if you haven't lived life, what stories can you tell?! You need to live life and have experience. I was and am lacking that. I need to live life more etc. There are many things I need to do. I'm sheltered and naive. But I am gradually over coming this lame "sheltered/being naive".

This story doesn't have soul, I agree with you. But that's the amazing thing about humans, we have opinions and choices. There are folks who's opinions tell them it does has a soul. But we all have our standards and opinions. I know this project is not good, (Of course this is my opinion. Standards.) but I don't mind sharing it.

Yessssssss CRINGE WORTHY. I understand. Truly. I don't just do "cute/romantic" stories. I also enjoy doing action/suspense.

"I kinda of was embarrased to watch it."
That's funny! haha. And sincerely, I feel bad. I hope you were alone. But at least know that I agree with you, and at least know that I have already moved on from this project and don't think it's the best. I know it's got 1,000,000 flaws. Our future projects will blast this one away.

Thank you for your honesty. Love you 2.

I enjoyed it moderately...

Eat lemons and die you stupid lemon eater!!!!

I'm a HUGE fan of Steampunk!

But this didn't capture the essence of steampunk :( Dissapointment like prom night.

Very Nice!

You are a very good animator! I applaud you at doing the traditional style, (Which I have yet to have the chance to).

Awesomeness!

I liked it! The ending just ties it all together so well that I felt obliged to watch it several times before writing this. Keep up the good work you great person you! Way to hang in there through all those years! Sometimes it just takes time to finish one project.

Whirlguy responds:

Haha thanks man, I like hearing that. Love your KB videos (:

Always good to see :D

And she's back on the scene! Always fun to watch your stuff. You're getting really good because I believe you're stepping out of your boundaries a bit more each animation. The trick is just to keep doing and drawing new things, new poses, new movements, it helps us grow.

I enjoyed the half ghostly dead bodies in presumable boxes, coffins. Kinda gave an extra oomf to the piece once I saw them. You gotta work a bit on finding a good flow to facial expression to lip synching, it twas too doll like, emotionless, if that was your objective, nvm. I could probably see you playing around a bit more with lighting effects, just because I believe your style is more linked to the classical art depiction of volumetric shadows and lighting. You may have fun experimenting with that under the grainy veil you have on this one and "English Tea"

cheshirecat1582 responds:

Awww thanks!!! You are totally right!!! I can't seem to get down facial expressions! People are sooo hard to depict.. (I'll just go with "They where supposed to be doll like") Haha even thought I was going for more realistic... And I TOTALLY SUCK at drawing from different points of view!!! I know music videos need that to keep you entertained, but WOW its hard!!! Lol I guess I have a hard time thinking 3D and always see it as a flat surface! I don't know why... I know there is an easier way of doing it then I have been because i envy so many animators on this site that can do it so fast... Anyways...

I'm always working on a flash I just dont find them ALL newgrounds worthy... haha, But your so right... just keep working on new poses and new movements...
The dead bodies in the boxes, I got that idea from the movie 13 ghosts with the jackle. Where his head was just in the box... lol
Anyways... Its always a pleasure to read your reviews!! Thank you again!! You always have great ideas and point out my flaws (in a good way) as to not make me feel horrible... lol I need that!!!

Killasal!

Space cats... Killasaw!!!

eddsworld responds:

Flurgerbla?
